Replace existing PSD files

Would love the ability to update existing the psd file in existing mockups that I have created. I’m using multiple smart layers per psd file that are updated via an API connection, which is driven by connecting the smart object UUID’s. Which means if I need to make an edit to the mockup, I need to reconnect to all the various smart objet UUID’s, which is painful.
